Those sunflowers are MASSIVE. How did they do it, I wonder? Please send best wishes to my hopeful sunflower!! My first one wilted due to a damaged stalk, so lets hope the second one stands a strong chance!!!
Then Garden Hose Mandala reminds me a lot of a necklace my grandma made. Something about the tribal earthy look is similar...

Nice work, p247 and Grandmom! Macrame is a "lost" art from the 70's that may be having a resurgence as persons need more low-tech connections.

I think they did it with organic fertilizer in the community garden. Also, maybe younger generations of sunflower seeds dropped right in that spot; the strongest grew the best. Darwinism in action....


Let's keep an eye on your plant and see if it blooms.
