Hi Carolyn: Thanks for your encouragement. My doctorate is from the Graduate School at UVa in picturesque Charlottesville. I was in the Electrical Engineering Dept. and wrote my dissertation on "Translation, Rotation, and Scale Invariant Pattern Recognition Using a Modified Third Order Neural Network".
